International business

Geographical proximity and good relations to our immediate neighbour countries enabled very early export activities, particularly in Eastern Europe. In the 1990’s we set up sales offices in Hungary (1991), Poland (1992), Czech Republic (1994) and in Bulgaria (1995), as well as Romania (1999).
Lannacher Heilmittel set up representative offices and subsidiaries together with Gerot Pharmazeutika in Russia, the central Asian countries, former Soviet Union countries and the Baltic States.
On 1 september 2009, those representative offices and subsidiaries will be incorporated into G.L. Pharma GmbH.

Marketing and sales in the EU, Asia and Africa is carried out via licensees, distributors and other local sales companies. Our export business focuses mainly on treatments for illnesses of the central nervous system.
